This is the first in a series of one day workshops for Master Naturalists in training. Dates and locations
for the subsequent workshops will be determined based on the preference of people attending the Basic
Ecological Principles workshop and the availability of instructors. Subsequent workshops have a fee of
$20 each to offset materials expenses. Workshop topics are aquatic and wetland ecosystems, urban
ecosystems, forest ecosystems and prairie ecosystems.
Master Naturalist payback their hours of training with hours of volunteer service such as
chapter committee work , service as a chapter officer, monitoring of restored wetlands, naturalist
docent work or individually designed efforts to increase the appreciation and understanding of
natural resources in Oklahoma.
